Wendy Monaghan, 2010-11 District Teacher of the Year!
This week, Wendy Monaghan, a 19 year teaching veteran who is currently an elementary teacher at Veterans Memorial Elementary School, was excited to learn that she was chosen as the District Teacher of the Year! As part of the Ocean County Teacher of the Year program, a teacher from each school is nominated and a community committee cast their individual votes to determine the Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Monaghan will hold the District Teacher of the Year title through April 2011 and be submitted on behalf of the District in consideration for the Ocean County Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Mrs. Monaghan!
