Midstreams Elementary School celebrated the “Week of Respect”
Midstreams Elementary School students and staff celebrated the “Week of Respect” with many activities including all wearing yellow on Wednesday October 5th. The highlight of the week included a “RESPECT assembly” featuring discussion on the topic, student participation and most importantly the entire school lead by Jen Farrar (4th grade teacher) singing re-written lyrics by the famous Aretha Franklin hit R-E-S-P-E-C-T. During the song, staff members donned their sunglasses and danced to the music to the delight of the entire student body.
