Governor Christie Exclusively Reads to Brick Twp. Children
In celebration of Literacy Awareness Week, Governor Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie invited children and from the Brick P.A.L summer camp, as well as Mayor Acropolis, Councilman Dan Toth, and Superintendent Walter Hrycenko to visit the Governor’s office to share their love of reading. This visit was exclusive to these children of the Brick P.A.L., providing a one-on-one opportunity for them to spend time with the Governor. The Governor read to the children and, along with his wife, challenged them to read three or more books this summer to continue keeping their minds sharp. In addition to meeting our current State leader, children toured the State House for a hands-on history lesson about our State Government.
