Early Act Club Students Help Eradicate Polio
Early Act Clubs across the Brick Schools are also working hard to raise funds that assist Rotary International in eradicating polio. A crippling and potentially fatal infectious disease, polio (poliomyelitis) still strikes children mainly under the age of five in countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. As an extension of the Rotary Club of Brick Township, Early Act Club students are selling purple bracelets to help raise funds that assist in the cost to immunize other children.
