Drum Point School Utilizes $1000 National Contest Winnings
Last year, a group of our students from Drum Point Elementary School were chosen as one of the top ten national finalists for their music video in the Apple & Eve Fruitables Music Mash Up Contest. They were awarded $1000 to spend on the music program at Drum Point. The award money was used to expand and repair the instrumental and technological staples in the General Music program. Students have received the new equipment in the classroom and are continuing to make beautiful music with their new instruments.
