Dog Therapists Receive Donation from VMES Student Charity Committee
The Bright and Beautiful Dog Therapists were the most recent recipients of a generous donation from the Veterans Memorial Elementary School Charity Committee (Brick, NJ). Since the fall, four VMES classrooms have enjoyed visits from therapy dogs and their handlers. Each student has had the opportunity to read, play, walk, snuggle and give treats to these dogs. The Bright and Beautiful Therapy group reports that VMES is the first public school to generously contribute to their organization, and they were thrilled to receive the donation. Bright and Beautiful Dog Therapists will be visiting these classrooms once a month for the remainder of the year and the VMES school community couldn’t be happier!
